What is the typical guidance given in these situations? 

  • Eat healthy.  That's great, but what exactly does 'eat healthy' mean?
  • Or, eat less and move more. We've all tried that (probably many times!). We know that does NOT work!

Recent studies have shown that there's much more involved in our metabolism than just calories. 


What we eat, when we eat, our sleep, exercise and movement, and stress all affect our hormones. It's these hormones that regulate our metabolism: they regulate our blood sugar, make us feel full or hungry, promote weight loss or gain...


When you work with me, we will look at all of these different lifestyle factors and develop a plan tailored to you with the goal of getting your hormones under control so that:

  • your blood sugar falls in the optimal range 
  • you don't get hangry or need to eat every couple of hours 
  • your weight settles in a more optimal range

But we won't be counting calories! Instead we will focus on nutrient-dense, whole foods that will fill you up, nourish your body and make you feel good!


Continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) can often be helpful when working to regulate blood sugar. When appropriate, this tool may be part of your plan.

If we decide to continue working together,  we will schedule an initial consultation ($250). This consultation is a 90 minute in-depth review of your goals, symptoms, health history and lifestyle.  During this session will begin developing your individual plan to achieve your goals. This plan will include both dietary and other lifestyle recommendations.  


Based on your needs, we can then go one of two different routes:


Do you have a complex history, need to lose 100 lbs or more, thinking about GLP-1 use? A 3 or 6 month intensive package is recommended. Follow-on appointments will be scheduled for short (30-45 minute) sessions at the same time every week.  


  • My Metabolic Foundations Package ($1,500) gets to the basics of metabolic health - putting in place daily habits that promote a healthy metabolism - that is the ability to burn either sugar or fat for fuel (most of us can only burn sugar, hence the difficulty in losing weight), without the blood sugar highs and lows (let's get rid of hangry forever!).  This package includes:
    • 12 Follow-up consultations (45 minutes each)
    • Personal recommendations regarding food, supplementation, sleep, stress, and movement
    • Access to the client portal with unlimited messaging, food & lifestyle tracking


  • My Metabolic Transformation Package ($2,850) allows you to transform your metabolic health. It not only covers the basics of metabolic health - it goes deeper, more firmly establishing those daily habits and incorporating additional habits to further improve your body's ability to burn fat.  This package includes everything in the previous package with 12 additional follow-up consultations over three additional months.

  • My monthly Metabolic Momentum Membership may be for you. Through regular check-ins and personalized guidance you'll have the accountability to stay consistent and the reassurance that progress happens one small step at a time. Cost is $150 per month.
